Is 650w enough for 3060?
Nvidia recommends at least a 600W PSU for the 3060 Ti, so, yes, a 650W PSU should be able to handle it, so long as you're not using outrageous amounts of power elsewhere in your system.
Thanks in advance. Recommended PSU for a 3060ti is 550W, so a Seasonic 650W is more than enough. Both at the same time, it would depend on your CPU at that point. If you have a relatively low wattage CPU, then it'll be fine.
The CPU has a relatively low power draw and the RTX 3060 also doesn't take as much power as some of the more high-end GPU's out there. The PSU is an A tier PSU on the PSU tier list so I personally think it should be OK, but I have seen some people recommending a 750w PSU for similar builds.
Is 650W enough for RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600X? Yes.
Cause for the RTX 3080 they recommend 750W total system power. The card itself draws around 320W. And for the RTX3070 they recommend 650W total system power.
Yes, it will be enough, even for the 3060 OC edition.
Yes, a 500-watt power supply should be sufficient to handle an RTX 3060 graphics card and an Intel Core i5 10400F processor. Both components have relatively moderate power requirements. The RTX 3060 is a mid-range graphics card that typically has a maximum power consumption of around 170 watts.
Freezing, crashing, and data loss can happen due to an improperly sized or weak power supply. These unexpected shutdowns will significantly affect your organization's productivity and frustrate employees.
The official Nvidia recommendation for an RTX 3060 is 550 watts and for a 3060 ti, 600 watts. You should be fine with a 500 watt PSU, but if it were me, I would go with at least what's suggested by the manufacturer, being 550. It is better to just get 600 watt or 750 watt.
Nvidia says that you should get at least a 600w PSU with a 3060 Ti. You can find many good 600 -650w PSU's at a reasonable price. Just look for one that's not super expensive and has good reviews. You'll need 1 8-pin power connector for that card and virtually every PSU in that wattage will have that.
Is a 600 watt power supply good for a 3060?
Nvidia recommends minimum 600w psu for RTX 3060Ti, but online psu calculator websites recommend 418-430w for my build.
A 650W power supply will be unable to give sufficient capacity to the framework, which could bring about flimsiness or even harm to the parts. It is prescribed to utilize a power supply with no less than 750 watts of force for a double GPU arrangement.
For a 3060 TI, a 650W power supply is enough, but not by a lot.
Is 650W enough for 3060 Ti and 5700x? Both components don't need that much power, so yes a good true rated 650W PSU will work.
Yes, even a 600–650W would do, the 3060Ti “only” uses 200W (vs a 320W for a 3080..), the Mobo and CPU needs 150W, add 100 for the rest.

That should be plenty, the 5600X is only 65W TDP and Nvidia recommend a 650W PSU for a 3070 taking into account total system power. If you ever plan to use a 5900X then a 750W would be better.
Well, 650w is suggested for the 3070 and not the 3070ti. and PSUs rarely use 100% of it's power. But it's still good to go with what is suggested.
Yes it would do fine but I recommended you to get a 650W and you can use it for few years upgrading the processor or GC. Ryzen 5 5600X has peak power consumption of around 145-150 W and RTX 3060 consumes around 245 W and your other peripherals like keyboard & mouse will consume around 15–20W with RGB.
Both should be fine transient spikes should probably max out at 250w on either which that 450w psu you have should handle.... The rest of the system assuming stock will likely use less than 125w total.
What is the best power for the 3060?
What power supply do I need for RTX 3060? Nvidia Recommends a minimum of 550W. Of course, it will depends on the rest of your setup, If you run a 200W+ TDP CPU overclocked, 8 sticks of RAM and 20 NVMe, I say you will need a 850W or greater, but, with all normal gaming setup 550W to 750W is good enough.
Is 750W enough for RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600X? Most definitely. You probably wouldn't need any more than a 550W PSU, in all honesty. The 3070 uses around 220W at max load, while the Ryzen 5 5600X uses 142W at 100%.
You need a minimum of 550 watts power supply for RTX 3060. It will be capable of handling the latest RTX 4060 ti as well.
There is no truth to the myth that a large wattage power supply will force too much power into your devices causing overheating and burnout. The power supply will only provide the needed wattage. For example, a device that needs 50 watts will only get 50 watts from a 250 watt supply, not the entire 250 watts.
Yes, it's possible. The bad PSU (power supply) can cause an uneven power surge to the rest of the computer, including the motherboard and/or GPU.
