Subject: Graduation Application is Available for Summer Semester 2023-24

Dear Bobcat:

The graduation application for Summer Semester 2023-24 (all sessions) is available in theMyOHIO Student Center. Graduation is not automatic. If you are planning to graduate summer semester, you must apply for graduation for any degrees (majors), minors, and certificates you plan to complete by the end of summer.

The deadline to apply for summer graduation is Monday, July 15, 2024, for all degrees, minors, and certificates. You will receive an email with a confirmation number once your graduation application is complete. If you do not have a confirmation number, your application is not complete; please log back in to complete your application or contact the Office of the University Registrar for assistance (graduation@ohio.edu or 740.593.4196).

If you plan to graduate summer semester but fail to apply for graduation by July 15, 2024, you must request an exception to the deadline and, if approved, must pay a $100.00 fine to have your graduation application processed for the summer semester.

Summer degree conferral date is August 17, 2024. Degree-bearing transcripts will be available approximately four weeks after this date; all completed summer degrees, minors, and certificates will be awarded on this timeframe, regardless of whether the classes were completed earlier in the semester. For more important dates visit ourgraduation webpage.

Note: There is no summer commencement. Students are invited to attend the fall ceremony December 14, 2024.

Congratulations, and best wishes on your final semester!
