𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕜𝕖 성적인 (@urbanecat) reported fromMebane, North Carolina
@DukeEnergy No power bill this month and a 1st class hotel for 2 nights out to suffice as an apology. Maybe throw in a steak dinner while we're at it
𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕜𝕖 성적인 (@urbanecat) reported fromMebane, North Carolina
@DukeEnergy Thanks had to spend 2 entire vacation days with no power in the effin dark with no heat right in time for cold winter weather. You guys are a class act. Get your **** in order there are 3rd world countries who make you look retro
𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕜𝕖 성적인 (@bimbimbebop) reported fromMebane, North Carolina
@DukeEnergy power outage after a storm last night. Their txtplanation: our crews worked through the night to assess that tree damage is the reason you're pissed at us right now. We will continue to update u with annoying non helpful updates
𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕜𝕖 성적인 (@urbanecat) reported fromMebane, North Carolina
@DukeEnergy In a state full of trees like NC u might want to take measures to protect ur hardware from the elements and fallen trees. Can't be having 2-3 day blackouts like that. Can't imagine people at home suffering from physical conditions having to endure winter w/o power

Sandi Caton (@sancat61) reported
@wxbrad @FormerModerate Yeah, your definition of recent is different than mine. Sounds like someone is trying to force people off traditional power sources. Why defend what @DukeEnergy is doing.
Mimbyd (@mimbyd) reported
@DukeEnergy It's time for Americans to realize renewables are unreliable also decommissioning fossil fuel power generation in the name of 'climate change' is idiotic at this point @NC_Governor people will be protesting woke power generation
Mika (@mosesmika) reported
@ksMetalArtist @tressiemcphd @DukeEnergy You may be the one lucky customer who did. I did get one tonight basically saying that they will do rolling blackouts on Christmas Day if we don’t all behave and limit our use to cave man standards. Cause apparently continuous grid maintenance isn’t a thing.
Queen City (@prettymiss85) reported
@DukeEnergy Ok we’re in hour 13 of now power now. No more tweets from Duke Energy. Has everyone gone home to their homes that still have electricity? Staying warm? While there’s plenty of us that don’t have any electricity still!
Pop Culture Writer (@ThePopCulWriter) reported
@mowindude @TimBuckleyWX @DukeEnergy What area? I haven’t seen a message from Duke Power.
Stormychick34 (@stormchaserchi1) reported
@BHAMonTV @DukeEnergy I was without power from 830am to 200pm and it went off again this afternoon at around 3pm for 15mins
The Abiding Dude (@TheOGDude56) reported fromNewport, South Carolina
@NWALegends @DukeEnergy @NC_Governor Don’t think for a minute that Governor Stupor gives a rats ***. DukeEnergy is a big donor to all. The NC Attorney General is forcing the customers to pay $4B to clean up the toxic coal ash storage ponds. Duke pays $1B. The customer has already paid for this in fuel costs.
Sam Grundman (@SamGrundman) reported
@terrylacy @BraxtonWinston @DukeEnergy Re-route from where? There's no unused electricity sitting anywhere. The problem is consumption rose up to the level of production and consumption had to be cut off, literally by cutting some people off the grid
kathleenfgs (@kathleenfgs) reported
@DrGoose305 @DukeEnergy @Panthers That is awful! People are suffering in their own homes but a football game is totally lit up? Shameful!!
The Abiding Dude (@TheOGDude56) reported fromNewport, South Carolina
@BHAMonTV @DukeEnergy My rolling blackout lasted almost 10 hrs. Duke knew this would happen and did nothing to prepare their customers. @DukeEnergyStorm #DukeEnergy are simply worried about their bottom line. Their CEO is ‘Lynnron’ Good. She was complicit in the Enron scam.
